Ammunition Sales & Transfer Information

Ammunition Transfer Fees:

Effective immediately, Auburn Guns & Ammo will have the following fee schedule for ammunition transfers. This fee does not apply to the ammunition available for sale in our store.

Ammunition Order Transfer Fee

$30 flat fee per order

Storage fees for Vendor Transferred Ammunition Received: 

24 hours after we receive the ammo, we charge a $5 per day storage fee.

Ammunition left for more than 30 days will be considered abandoned and forfeited. 

Private Party Ammunition Transfer Fee 

$5 and no sales tax due. 

Both parties must be present to conduct a Private Party Ammunition Transfer. 

CA Sales Tax must be collected on the full invoiced amount of the ammunition shipment 

All ammunition shipments received MUST have an original invoice with shipment so the proper sales tax can be collected.  

 

*Ammunition will only be released to the customer listed on the invoice.

*All fees are non-refundable.

*All terms and fees subject to change at the sole discretion of Auburn Guns and Ammo

Transferred Firearms:

$1 per day / per firearm

Transferred Ammunition:

$5 per day / per order

Prohibited:

$30 per month / per firearm

*Important Notice Regarding Storage Charges for Transfers of Ammunition and Firearms:

Upon the arrival of your transferred ammunition or firearms, you will be promptly notified and will have 24 hours to come start the paperwork process. Storage charges of $1 per day for firearms or $5 per day for ammo will be charged starting 24 hours after arrival. To minimize storage charges, we encourage you to track your shipments to us and retrieve your ammunition or firearm promptly after receiving the notice of arrival. This ensures both the timely transfer of ownership and the responsible handling of your items.
